A gravity force acts on an object regardless of whether it is moving or not moving. In everyday situations, the size of the gravity force on something does not change significantly as it rises above the Earth. In this activity, our preschool students tried to defy the gravity using paper clip and a magnet.The paperclip doesn’t fall because it is attracted to the magnet and doesn’t jump up to the magnet as it is held in place by string, making it look like it is defying gravity and floating in the air!!
